Parents and caregivers
DASH is one of the tools staff at your child's school use to notice early when something needs a conversation. Any email you receive through DASH is sent on behalf of a named member of staff, and replying reaches them. Questions about your child's information go to the school first; questions about the tool itself can come to kiaora@dash.org.nz. How DASH handles information is set out in the privacy notice.
About DASH
DASH is a staff-only student pastoral dashboard. Each night it takes the information the school already holds in its student-management system and turns it into one clear view per student and per group, so that a pattern is noticed early rather than at the end of a term. Staff see only what their role and responsibility allow, and every request is checked on the server.
DASH is independently built and maintained in New Zealand, and is operated for the school's use by its developer. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with KAMAR or any student-management vendor.
